This adept marketing and advertising agency creates powerful brand
experiences that move people in distinctive ways and unexpected places. This
agency is looking to expand with the addition of a Digital Project Manager within their Wilmington office.
Focusing on interactive as well as more traditional (television, radio, print,
etc.) projects, this agency is looking for a PM who can keep projects on
schedule and within budget. The ideal candidate will have digital and management
experience, an ability to quickly adapt and react, and a desire to succeed.
Knowledge and experience with pharmaceuticals a plus.
Your role as an Interactive Project Manager:
. Drive forward a wide variety of agency projects on a concurrent basis, from
project conception to final deployment
. Maintain frequent interaction with the project management team, account
teams, the digital team and creative department to develop project scopes,
requirements, estimates and timelines
. Develop project plans and work with User Experience, Creative and Technology
teams to ensure key milestones are being met
. Track and report on financial health of interactive projects, and have an
acute understanding of how decisions impact overall project costs
. Research and identify third-party resources that may be needed for specific
project tasks
. Work in a sometimes challenging team environment while maintaining deadlines
. Organize and lead internal status and kick-off meetings
. Pay special attention to any potential areas of concern, and work to keep
collaboration and teamwork flowing throughout each project
. Balance a sense of urgency with a calm and confident demeanor, especially in
stressful or pressured situations
. Produce standard project documentation such as meeting agendas and status
reports
. Minimize and mitigate agency risk on projects
. Serve as a direct point of client contact as needed on certain accounts
Qualifications:
. Minimum of three (3) years of project management experience in an agency
setting. Experience with web development desired
. Broad awareness and understanding of digital technologies and terminology
. Excellent writing, speaking, organization and interpersonal skills
. The ability to multi-task, work independently, creatively and efficiently in
a fast-paced and challenging environment
. Experience/skill with Microsoft Project or similar project management
applications
. Upbeat, positive attitude and a "get things done" mentality
. Knowledge of pharmaceutical terminology and procedure a plus
