Posted: February 5th, 2010

Diccicco Battista Communications, a full-service brand communications firm, announced that veteran public relations team member, Fran Lamb, stepped in as the newest traffic reporter during NBC10’s Friday snow storm coverage from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m.

Lamb, who joined the agency in 2008, previously served as traffic reporter for NBC affiliate WGAL in Harrisburg. Since joining the agency, she has provided communications strategy and public relations tactical support for some of the agency’s marquee clients, including The Rose Group Applebee’s Restaurants, the 2010 Philadelphia Home Show, Hyland’s Homoeopathy and BioClinica Inc. Lamb also helped to develop and now leads the company’s media training program.

According to Tim Cifelli, senior vice president and general manager of Diccicco Battista, the company couldn’t be more thrilled. “We’re ecstatic to see one of our own make the transition from behind the scenes to in-front of the camera. Fran approaches her clients with a journalist’s perspective, which drives the advice and council she provides them. We have no doubt that she’ll make us and NBC proud, and provide great information to viewers during what is predicted to be one of the worst snow storms of the year.”

Lamb who originally hails from Pittsburgh, currently resides in Conshohocken. She was seen Friday on NBC 10 from 4 to 6 p.m.
