KYW Newsradio and The Big Talker 1210 AM WPHT are pleased to announce that Jeff Brummel will fill the National Sales Manager (NSM) position that was vacated when Michael Berkowitz became KYW Newsradio’s General Sales Manager. Jeff will be returning to the area from Chicago. His first day will be Monday, May 1st.“Jeff is a seasoned sales manager who has worked at some of the best radio stations in the United States, including legendary news/talk station WGN-AM in Chicago and several CBS/Infinity-owned stations throughout the country,” says David Yadgaroff, Vice President & General Manager for KYW Newsradio and The Big Talker 1210 AM WPHT. “We’re excited about adding his experience and strong national sales relationships to our already extraordinary sales team.”
Jeff will join KYW Newsradio and The Big Talker 1210 AM WPHT after four years at WGN where he served as Local Sales Manager from 2004 to 2006 and NSM from 2002 to 2004. Prior to joining WGN, Jeff spent two years as NSM for CBS RADIO stations WXRT-FM, WSCR-AM and WCKG-FM in Chicago from 2002 to 2004. Jeff also managed national sales for the CBS RADIO group in Dallas from 1994 to 2000. From 1989-1994 Jeff worked as a national sales rep at CBS RADIO Representatives in New York.
Jeff is a 1986 graduate of The Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University. A long-time fan of the Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles, Jeff is very excited to be coming home.
